Genora Ann Muir passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023, at Crown Ridge Nursing Home. She was the daughter of the late Genora M. and George A. Nobles. Genora was married to the late George A. Muir and was preceded in death by her two sons, George “Andy” Muir and Jimmy Muir. She is survived by her son John Muir and daughter Melinda (Jeff). Genora was also predeceased by her siblings, William Manley, Mack, and Bessie. She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Rushnell Funeral Home on Sunday, November 5, and a funeral service will take place on Monday, November 6, 2023. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Crown Ridge Nursing Home, where Genora received exceptional care.

Genora’s grandchildren, Stefanie (Jamie), Steven (Kylie), Andrew, Lyndsey (Jeremy), Alexandra, and Justin, will forever hold a special place in their hearts for their beloved grandmother. She was also adored by her great-grandchildren, Lily, Gwen, Natalie, Samantha, and Cali. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the visitation, which will be held at Rushnell Funeral Home on Sunday, November 5. A funeral service, led by Rev. Brad Beale, will take place on Monday, November 6, 2023, where Genora will be laid to rest in Elmwood Cemetery.
