George SINNESAEL

George Sinnesael, a resident of Tillsonburg and formerly of Langton area, passed away on July 23, 2023 at the age of 76. He had been battling illness with great courage, and he peacefully passed away at Woodstock General Hospital surrounded by his loving wife Esther and other family members. George was born on June 5, 1947, in Simcoe to Desire Sinnesael and Godelieve Sinnesael (nee Viaene). He was a family-oriented individual and dedicated many years of his life to working as an employee of Reiter/Mastico, which later became Autoneum. In his free time, George enjoyed outdoor activities such as fishing, hunting, and golfing. From 1968 to 1984, he also engaged in tobacco farming in the Langton area.

George was a devoted husband, having been married to Esther Lucille (Wilson) Sinnesael for 54 years. He was a proud father to George Desire Quintin Sinnesael from Tillsonburg, Jill (Ron Demarest) from Delhi, and their children Amanda, Kaitlin, and Danielle; as well as Janice (Mike Vanmaele) from Langton and their children Cassidy, Hannah, Haley, and Chloe. He was also a cherished brother to Diane Black, the late Reginald, Ronald (Karen) Sinnesael, Gerald (Becky) Sinnesael, Nancy (Tony Visser), Terrylyn (Steve Henry), Mary (Steve West), and Michael Sinnesael. Additionally, George had nieces, nephews, and cousins who held a special place in his heart.

Visitation to pay respects to George will be held at Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes- Burial and Cremation Services Inc., located at 40 Queen Street, Langton, on July 27, 2023. The visitation will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Following the visitation, a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at Sacred Heart R.C. Church at 1:00 p.m., with Rev. Fr. Seejo John officiating the ceremony. Interment will then occur at Sacred Heart R.C. Cemetery in Langton. Donations in memory of George can be made online at http://www.verhoevefuneralhomes.com to the London Regional Cancer Clinic or the Woodstock Hospital Foundation. Alternatively, donations can be made via cheque through Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes at 40 Queen Street, Langton. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Maurice J.
