George Stott, a beloved husband and father, passed away on June 23, 2023, in Ottawa, ON. His unwavering commitment to his late wife Donna Stott (nee Mahon) and his passion for books and gardening defined his life. George was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Marion Stott, his brothers Thomas and John, and his sisters Shirley and Margaret. He is survived by his two sons, Matthew (Coreen) and Daniel Stott. George’s memory will be cherished by both his loved ones and his wide network of friends. A private gravesite service will be held, followed by a reception for family and friends on July 26, 2023. Contributions in George’s honor can be made to the Heart and Stroke Association of Canada, in lieu of flowers.
