Gerald Sparks, a beloved son, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, friend, and soldier, passed away at the age of 81. It is with deep sorrow that we share this news. In March of 2023, Gerald’s wife Deborah Mae Sparks, with whom he had shared sixty-one wonderful years of marriage, passed away. Gerald is survived by his children Vernon (Gillian) and Darlene (Jared), as well as his five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was the eldest of eleven siblings. Gerald dedicated over 35 years of his life serving his country in the military before retiring. He had a passion for golf and was a cherished member of the Garrison Golf Club, where he and his wife, Deb, spent many joyful moments together.
