Geraldine RADKE

Geraldine Marie Radke, aged 69, passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital in Drumheller, AB on September 20, 2023. She succumbed to Peritoneal Metastatic Disease, which was diagnosed in early September of the same year. Gerry, as she was affectionately known, was a cherished mother, sister, grandmother, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, friend, and mentor. Throughout her life, she experienced the loss of her husband Ryan in 2004, her parents, Fred and Elsie, and most recently her older brother Allan in 2022, as well as several other beloved family members and friends over the years. Left to cherish her memory are her four children: Danielle Radke (married to Darin McCollum), Andrea Linkert (married to Jeremy, and with children Ben and Sam), Matthew (married to Stacey, and with children Conner and Griffin), and daughter Chelsea Radke.

A private service will be held at a later date, with the details to be communicated by the family in due course. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to local food banks, animal shelters, or children’s charities. Geraldine Marie Radke will always be remembered for the love and care she gave to those around her. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
