Gertrude Pitre

Gertrude Pitre, aged 74, peacefully passed away at the Villa du Repos in Moncton on Tuesday, September 26, 2023. She was born in Collette on April 16, 1946, to her late parents Joseph Pitre and Ida Pitre (nee Gallant).

Left to mourn her passing is her sister May Collette (Ulysse), two nieces Jessica and Jennifer, and two special cousins Lilianne and Julia. Additionally, she is survived by several cousins and friends. Gertrude was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her two brothers Damien and Marcel.

Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects starting at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at the La Colombe salon in Rogersville. A memorial service will follow at 3 p.m.

In memory of Gertrude, the family kindly requests donations to the Collette cemetery. The family would also like to express their gratitude to the staff at Villa du Repos in Moncton for their exceptional care during Gertrude’s time there.
