Gladys CHIEDUCH

Gladys “Carol” Chieduch passed away on October 28, 2023, at the age of 79. She was a resident of Stony Plain, AB. Carol is survived by her devoted husband of 61 years, Jerry. She was a loving mother to Bradley, Laurie (Robert) Ryan, and Lisa (Paul Toth). Carol will be dearly missed by her grandchildren Garett Ryan, Kirk (Kathleen) Ryan, Rachel Toth, and Devon Toth, as well as her great-grandchildren Lachlan, Lakeyn, and Malcolm Ryan. In addition to her immediate family, Carol will also be greatly missed by numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Emma Schellenberer, her sisters Vivian Goodsell and Shirley Johnston, and her grandson Brett Ryan.

Visitation to celebrate Carol’s life will be held on Monday, November 6, 2023, from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Parkland Funeral Chapel in Stony Plain, AB. A Funeral Service will then take place at 1:00 p.m. on November 7, 2023, at St. John’s Lutheran Church (Golden Spike) in Spruce Grove, AB, officiated by Pastor Doug Hanson-Torwalt. In honor of Carol’s memory, Memorial Donations can be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church in Spruce Grove, AB.

The passing of Gladys “Carol” Chieduch, a beloved member of the community, has left behind immeasurable love and sadness. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved her.
