It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Glen, a devoted partner and best friend to Nancy for over three decades. Glen’s brother Dale (Gail), his nieces Tara (Duncan) and Lisa (Shane), as well as his great nieces and nephews Logan, Ayla, Jacob, and Ben, along with countless friends, will deeply miss him. Glen, also known as Hermie, was known for his quick wit, fun-loving nature, and sociable personality. He always had a contagious laughter and a genuine love for a good joke. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate doctors and nurses at the Palliative Care Unit 52 at SMH. Glen’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to the Canadian Cancer Society. A celebration of Glen’s life will be organized at a later time to commemorate his remarkable spirit and the joy he brought into the lives of others.
