Mr. Gordon Allan Gibson, affectionately known as Gordie, sadly passed away unexpectedly in his home in New Westminster. He was 67 years old. Gordie was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Kay and George Gibson. He is survived by his loving son, Allan, and his daughter, Angelene Nicholls, along with their respective spouses, Jeannie and Brian. Gordie is also remembered by his sister, Beverly Halliday, her husband Murray, his nine cherished grandchildren, numerous friends, and his adored cat, Bandit. Throughout his life, Gordie dedicated over three decades of service to the City of New Westminster. While he had a great passion for fishing, Gordie’s greatest joy stemmed from his love for his family. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of one’s choice. A private service will be held, in accordance with Gordie’s wishes. May Gordie rest in eternal peace.

Additionally, he is survived by his caring sister, Beverly Halliday, and her husband Murray, as well as his nine much-loved grandchildren, a multitude of friends, and his loyal feline companion, Bandit. Gordie dedicated over 30 years of outstanding service to the City of New Westminster. Although he found solace in fishing, Gordie’s ultimate happiness stemmed from the presence and love of his family. Instead of flowers, the family humbly requests donations to be made to a charity of choice. In accordance with Gordie’s expressed wish, no formal service will be held. May Gordie’s soul find everlasting serenity.
