Helen Giesche

Helen Giesche, formerly known as Helen White, peacefully passed away at the age of 101 on November 1st, 2023, at Seasons Retirement Residence. Survived by her brother Frank White residing in Florida, Helen was preceded in death by her beloved siblings Antionette, Tony, Mary, Peter, and Delores (known affectionately as Babe).

Helen is remembered and cherished by her children, Sandi Martin (formerly Deacon), and Cher Guest. Her presence will be deeply missed by her grandchildren Glenn Steed (Joy), Dawn Maurice (formerly Steed), Joe Jarvis (Amanda), and Desiree Kerr (David). Additionally, her great-grandchildren Kohl Dunn (formerly Steed) (Michael), Keaton Steed, Sierra Maurice, and Clayton Maurice hold treasured memories of their time with her.

Helen’s family and friends, both longstanding and recent, are grappling with a profound sense of loss caused by her departure. Throughout her life, she found great joy in playing cards and solving puzzles, activities that she embraced until her final days. A celebration of Helen’s life is scheduled to take place later in November, where loved ones will gather to commemorate her legacy.
