Helen Johnston, a beloved resident of Ottawa, Ontario, passed away at the St. Michael’s Health Centre on Wednesday, October 4, 2023. She was the cherished wife of the late James Forbes Johnston. Helen is fondly remembered by her three children, Jim Johnston, Carol Shaw (David), and Ken Johnston (Lucy), as well as her grandchildren, Cody and Shane Johnston, Brock, Brodie, and Taylor Sheahan, Madison and Colin Johnston, Sandra Shaw, and Stacey Murchison. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren. A private family celebration will be held at a later date to honor Helen’s life. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society or the Canadian Cancer Society.
