In Loving Memory, we remember Jacqueline McConnell (nee Tremblay), who peacefully passed away on Thursday, November 2nd, 2023, at the Belleville General Hospital. Jacqueline, aged 85, was the beloved wife of John McConnell, who preceded her in death in 2022. She will be forever cherished as the loving mother of Sandra (Stephan Benson), John Kerwood (Heidi), and Richard (Laura). Jacqueline was an adored grandmother to Jacob, Ryan, Jimmy, Alex, Victoria, and Liam, and though no longer with us, she held a special place in her heart for her late grandson Cameron and great-granddaughter Katana. Jacqueline was the dear daughter of Arthur and Florence Tremblay, who have also passed away, and will be fondly remembered by her sister Yevette. Her memory lives on in the hearts of many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
A memorial service to honor Jacqueline’s life will be held at The Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home, located at 233 Larch St. Sudbury, on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. Following the service, Jacqueline’s remains will be cremated and laid to rest in Toronto. Jacqueline was the cherished offspring of Arthur and Florence Tremblay, both of whom have since passed away. While many siblings, namely Robert, Pauline, Leona, Irean, Isabelle, Leo, and Richard, preceded her in death, she is survived by her sister Yevette. The loss of Jacqueline will profoundly touch numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
