James “Brian” Robinson, born on January 1, 1934, peacefully passed away on October 25, 2023, at the age of 90. With heavy hearts, his family announces his departure, as he is reunited with his beloved wife Audrey, with whom he shared 67 years of marriage until her passing in 2007. He leaves behind a void that will be deeply felt by his three children: Lesley Slater (Bill), Philip Robinson, and Brent Robinson (Cheryl Davies). He was a proud and loving grandfather to eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Brian is survived by his dear sister Anne Fletcher (David) from the UK. Born in England, where he met his childhood sweetheart, he then served in the RAF before immigrating to Canada in 1962. He made a living working for Proctor & Gamble and dedicated his time as a volunteer at Stedman Hospice for several years, where he formed a special friendship with Stephanie, for which he was grateful. The family would like to express their gratitude to the caregivers at Telfer Place, who provided exceptional care to Brian at his home. They also extend sincere thanks to Dr. A. East and Dr. B. Jones for their kindness and professionalism. Cremation has already taken place, and interment will be held at Farringdon Burial Ground. The Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre has been entrusted with the arrangements. Donations in Brian’s memory can be made to the Stedman Community Hospice or the charity of your choice, which would be greatly appreciated by the family. Furthermore, a tree will be planted in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest as a permanent remembrance.
