James Turner Consitt, a resident of RR 1 Zurich, passed away at LHSC – University Hospital on Monday, October 23, 2023 at the age of 79. He was the loving husband of Marion (Rowe) Consitt for more than 54 years. James was a proud father to Joanne (Steve), Rob (Jamie), and Brenda (Phil), and a cherished grandfather to Kyle (Tuesday), Brooke (Jukka), Amber, Ryan, Sam, Ella, and Skye. He will be dearly missed by his siblings Nancy (Chuck) Becker, Helen Consitt, Barb Consitt, Norma (Rob) Near, and Jim (Ruth) Rowe. James was predeceased by his brothers Tom, Bill, and John, as well as his sister-in-law Marjorie.

A celebration of James’ life will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, located at 456 Main Street South in Exeter, on Saturday, November 4th from 2 PM to 5 PM. Words of remembrance will be shared at 3 PM. Attendees are kindly requested to dress casually, honoring James’ memory. Following cremation, his ashes will be interred at Bayfield Cemetery. His siblings Nancy (Chuck) Becker, Helen Consitt, Barb Consitt, Norma (Rob) Near, and Jim (Ruth) Rowe were dear to his heart. Unfortunately, James had to say goodbye to his brothers Tom, Bill, and John, as well as his sister-in-law Marjorie, who preceded him in death.

A commemorative event honoring James’ life will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, situated at 456 Main Street South in Exeter, on Saturday, November 4th between the hours of 2 PM and 5 PM.
