Janice Claire Silver (nee Hill) was born on September 12, 1936, in Hamilton, Ontario. After joining the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF), she moved to Winnipeg, where she encountered her future husband, Kenneth Morris Silver. Together, they embarked on a life that took them to various locations before ultimately settling in Calgary in 1976.

Sadly, Janice was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kenneth Morris. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Kenneth Dean (Olga), Brad (Chris), and Ed (Stacey), as well as her daughters, Valerie and Shelley (Don). In addition, she is survived by her grandchildren, Amy, Danielle, Ryan, Paige, and Cohen, as well as her great-grandchildren, Emily, Katie, and Wesley.

Throughout her life, Janice found joy in her children and maintained a delightful sense of humor until her passing. The family would like to express their gratitude to the dedicated staff at AgeCare SkyPointe for their exceptional care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Parkinson Association of Alberta. A Celebration of Life in honor of Janice will be held at a later date.
