Jean Deveney

Jean Deveney, born in 1930, was laid to rest on September 5, 2023, leaving behind cherished memories and a void in the lives of her loved ones. Peacefully passing away at the age of 93, Jean was surrounded by her two devoted daughters during her final moments. Her departure leaves an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Jean’s legacy lives on through her daughter Linda, along with Linda’s husband Tom and their three children: Ryan, Aaron, and Carly. Additionally, her daughter Brenda, Brenda’s husband Al, and their five children, Cory, Stacey, Jordan, Ashlea, and Amanda, will forever carry her memory. Jean also leaves behind a lasting impression on her ten adored great-grandchildren, who affectionately called her “GG.”

Sadly, Jean was predeceased by her husband David, as well as her parents, Irvine and Florence Willis. Their absence further accentuates the sense of loss felt by those close to her.

To honor Jean’s remarkable life, a celebration will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Glenwood Funeral Home in Sherwood Park, Alberta. The gathering will provide an opportunity for family and friends to come together as they fondly remember the extraordinary woman that Jean was.

Jean Deveney’s passing has undeniably left a void in the lives of her loved ones. However, her cherished memories will forever be a source of solace and inspiration, a testament to a life well-lived.
