Jean Gerard Couillard (John)

It is with deep sadness that the beloved family of Jean Couillard announces his peaceful passing in Montreal on September 22nd, 2023, at the remarkable age of 86. Jean will forever be cherished and fondly remembered by his devoted wife of 57 years, Judy, his loving children Kelly (Alasdair), Christian (Tanya), and Courtney, as well as his adored grandchildren Mackenzie and Kaitlin. Countless extended family members and friends were also touched by his presence throughout his rich and fruitful life.

A solemn funeral service honoring Jean’s memory will take place on Saturday, October 14th, commencing at 11 a.m. at the sacred St. Veronica’s church situated at 1300 Carson Ave. in Dorval. In lieu of floral tributes, the family kindly requests contributions in Jean’s honor to the West Island Special Olympics, an organization whose mission held a special place in his heart.

Jean Couillard was a beacon of light to those who knew him, spreading kindness and warmth wherever he went. He leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and unwavering dedication to his family and community. While he may no longer be with us, the beautiful memories he created will forever remain etched in our hearts.
