Jean Moffatt, 75, passed away on Sunday August 20, 2023, at the hospital. She was the beloved wife of Keith Moffatt for 53 years and the proud mother of Marjorie (David), Julie (Robert), Marilyn (Mark), and the late Carrie. Jean will be forever cherished by her grandchildren Kaitlyn, Curtis, Laura (Harold), Austin, Evan, Jacob, Bradley, as well as her step-grandchildren Jamie and Erin. She was preceded in death by her dear sister Joyce (Griffith-Lalonde) and her late sister Anne (late Jim Hill). Jean will always be remembered with love by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Carleton Lodge for the exceptional care they provided her during the last three years of her life. Jean Moffatt, aged 75, passed away in the hospital on Sunday August 20, 2023. She was married to Keith Moffatt for an impressive 53 years. Jean was a loving mother to Marjorie (David), Julie (Robert), Marilyn (Mark), and the late Carrie. Her grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Curtis, Laura (Harold), Austin, Evan, Jacob, Bradley, as well as her step-grandchildren Jamie and Erin, were the pride of her heart. Sadly, Jean leaves behind her dear sister Joyce (Griffith-Lalonde) and was preceded in death by her late sister Anne (late Jim Hill). She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends. The family wholeheartedly thanks the dedicated staff at Carleton Lodge for the unwavering care and support they provided to Jean throughout the past three years. A celebration of Jean’s life will take place at the Daley Family Funeral Home, located at 6971 Bank St. on Friday August 25, where family and friends are welcome to pay their respects between 4-7 p.m. At 5:30 p.m., the family will gather to share wonderful memories of their cherished time with Jean.
