Her passing leaves a void in the hearts of friends spanning across Canada and the globe.

Jennifer, affectionately known as Jenn, Ma, or Baba, was an active member of various communities and organizations. Her colleagues and friends at NAIT, Shumka, S.A.G., Edmonton Humane Society, Birds Canada, and foster care organizations for abandoned animals, share in the grief of losing her. Jenn’s interests were diverse, including her passion for reading, knitting, and watching adorable kitty videos with her granddaughter Casi. She found joy in watching her grandson Cohen play football and engaging in lively games of cribbage afterward. She relished sunny days with a cold beer, exploring different beaches around the world, and spending time with her beloved birds. Jenn enjoyed Sunday dinners, Monty Python, streaming TV, CNN, theatre, symphonies, The Beatles, Facebook, cooking recipes, reading glasses, Daniel Craig’s portrayal of James Bond, celebrating Hanukkah with her grandchildren, admiring BC QB Nathan Rourke, and volunteering for community organizations while savoring a good latte.

The family expresses deep gratitude to the medical staff at the Cross Cancer Institute and their friends at All Care Pharmacy for their unwavering support. In accordance with Jennifer’s wishes, there will be no celebration of life. However, donations to the Edmonton Humane Society in her memory would be greatly appreciated. Jennifer’s memory will forever be a blessing, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
