Jeremy David Liedtke, born on January 18, 1980, sadly passed away on October 6, 2023, following a courageous and lengthy battle against cancer. He was survived by his beloved spouse Marlene Veaudry, his treasured daughter Aurora Gogolin, and his caring step-children Travis (Jessie-Lynn Adam) and Brooklynn Jamieson. Jeremy also leaves behind his loving parents, David and Sharon Liedtke, and his brothers James and Jonathan (Fiona).

Jeremy’s family tree included his caring grandparents, Donna and the late Henry Liedtke, as well as the late Leonard and Louise Contant. He was a dearly loved and missed son-in-law of Shirley and the late Moise Veaudry, and a brother-in-law of Michael and Elaine Hanlon. Jeremy’s nieces and nephews, including Jasmine, Shaelynn, Sophie, Akira, Chloe, Liam, and Jacob, held a special place in his heart.

Remembered for his sweet and compassionate nature, Jeremy always wore a ready smile and was available to lend a helping hand. He possessed an impressive talent for creating delicious meals from scratch and enjoyed participating in various activities such as dart throwing, SkipBo games, and cheering on his favorite sports teams, including the Pembroke Lumber Kings, Toronto Blue Jays, and Toronto Maple Leafs. Throughout his successful career as a truck driver spanning over two decades, Jeremy traveled extensively across Ontario and Quebec.

The Celebration of Life in honor of Jeremy will take place on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the Eganville Legion. It will be an opportunity for family and friends to gather, share cherished memories, and reflect on Jeremy’s remarkable qualities. Jeremy had a preference for casual attire, encouraging attendees to wear jeans, plaid shirts, and even cowboy boots if they had them.
