With deep sorrow, the Booth family sadly announces the passing of Joan Beryl Booth on June 14th, 2023, at the remarkable age of 101. Joan, born to Arthur and Nellie Crew in Bristol, England, leaves behind her two younger sisters, Mavis and Eunice. During her youth, Joan courageously enlisted in the ATS, the esteemed women’s branch of the British Army, where she crossed paths with her beloved husband, Gerald “Rod” Booth. Together, they cherished 62 beautiful years until Rod’s departure in December 2004. Joan’s memory will forever remain in the hearts of her children: Chris, Sharon (Allan), David (Marilyn), her grandchildren: Bryce, Riley, Celina, and Lesley, and her great-grandchildren: Robyn, Rebecca, Emma, Tyson, and Jaxson. Her absence will be deeply felt, but her legacy will never be forgotten.

A celebratory gathering to honor Joan’s remarkable life will take place on August 13th, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Legion Veterans Village, located at 10626 City Parkway #102, Surrey. Let us come together to commemorate the incredible journey of Joan Beryl Booth, as we pay tribute to the cherished memories she leaves behind.
