Joan Dillon

Joan Elizabeth Dillon passed away peacefully at the age of 88 with her family by her side at FoxRun Retirement Home on November 6, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Daniel Dillon, much loved mother of Maureen Dixon and Gavin Dillon, and cherished grandmother of Jack, Molly, and Grace. She was also survived by her dear sister, Eve Houghton, Paula Howard, and Maureen Cadley, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Joan will be lovingly remembered by her son-in-law Neil Dixon.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Joan and Dan Dillon was held on Saturday November 11, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. with a private family burial following the Mass. The family requested that donations be made to St. John the Evangelist Church or to the Canadian Cancer Society in lieu of flowers, and expressed their gratitude to the staff at FoxRun, the Bayshore Home Health, and the Brockville Palliative Care. Online condolences were welcomed at Tompkins Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
