Jonathan Dempsey

Jonathan Dempsey, aged 47, tragically passed away on Thursday, October 19th, 2023. He was a resident of Jacquet River and the loving partner of Lynn Perron. Jonathan was born to Karen (born Audet) Dempsey and the late Reginald Dempsey. He is survived by his devoted partner Lynn, his daughter Brieanne (Mathieu Gallant) of Eel River Bar, step-daughters Janelle (Fred Thibeault) of Fermont, Anabelle (Jared Valdron) of St-Léonard, and Nadia (Gaby Soucy) of Campbellton, as well as his mother Karen Dempsey, his brother Bart (Coralee Dempsey), his sister Vanessa (Shane Malcom), eight adored grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and countless friends and family members. Sadly, Jonathan was preceded in death by his daughter Aja, his son Josh, his stepdaughter Julia, and his father Reginald.

A funeral mass was held at the St. Gabriel the Archangel Church in Jacquet River on Tuesday, October 31st, 2023. It is with deep grief that we mourn the untimely passing of Jonathan Dempsey, who unexpectedly left this world on October 19th, 2023, at the age of 47. Jonathan, beloved partner of Lynn Perron and son of Karen (born Audet) Dempsey and the late Reginald Dempsey, called Jacquet River his home. His absence has left a void that will be profoundly felt by his daughter Brieanne (Mathieu Gallant) of Eel River Bar, step-daughters Janelle (Fred Thibeault) of Fermont, Anabelle (Jared Valdron) of St-Léonard, Nadia (Gaby Soucy) of Campbellton, his mother Karen Dempsey, brother Bart (Coralee Dempsey), sister Vanessa (Shane Malcom), eight cherished grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a multitude of dear friends and extended family members. The loss is compounded by the absence of his daughter Aja, son Josh, stepdaughter Julia, and his father Reginald, who preceded Jonathan in death.

The St. Gabriel the Archangel Church in Jacquet River was a fitting location for the funeral mass held on October 31st, 2023, to honor Jonathan’s memory.
