Joseph HILTZ (Joe)

Joseph (Joe) Hiltz, born on May 18, 1958, peacefully passed away at his residence on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, after a valiant fight against cancer. Throughout his battle, he was comforted by the presence of his beloved wife and best friend, Jackie McLaren.

Joe was a devoted father to Kenneth Hiltz, Derek, and Samantha King. His love extended to his cherished grandchildren, Miikka, Lindsay, Trinity, as well as his stepchildren, Doreen (Daniel) Marier, and their children Cheyenne and Danaca. He will be forever remembered by his sister, Carol (Gilles Giroux) of North Bay, and nephews David and Shane Keown. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Hiltz and Faye Shier, as well as his brother, John.

A Memorial Service to honor Joe’s life will be held in North Bay at a later date. Further information regarding the service will be provided when available.
