Karen Louise Berukoff, aged 77, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2023, in West Vancouver, BC. She was born on January 30, 1946, to Evelyn and Gunnar Sorensen and grew up with five sisters and one brother on Daniel Street in Trail, BC. Karen is survived by her devoted husband Wally, her children Jon, Candace, Miranda, and Kalina, and her cherished grandchildren Faith, Angeleena, Elyas, Ademo, and Noah. Known for her vibrant and joyful personality, Karen was always the life of the party, arriving early and leaving last. She had a deep love for holidays and treasured moments spent with her loved ones. Karen’s warm and welcoming nature left an everlasting mark on everyone she encountered, and she will be dearly missed by all. Funeral services will be held at Hollyburn Funeral Home in West Vancouver on Saturday, July 29 at 11 a.m. A reception will follow at Lonsdale Quay Hotel in North Vancouver at 2 p.m.
