Katarina (Bako) Krizan, 86, passed away on November 5, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Sr. (2018) and the loving mother of Lisa Cozens, Thomas Krizan Jr., Betty Proietti, Lydia Krizan and Lois (George) Clifford. Katarina was also a dear grandmother to 5 grandchildren. She is survived by her sister, Maria Bako, and was predeceased by her siblings Mike (Kathy) Bako, Emile Bako, Susan Bako, and Anna Bako. Katarina was also the dear sister-in-law of Betty (late Sam) Cipkar and was predeceased by Edward (Susan) Krizan, Ruth Cristy, Marilyn (James) Sutts, Andrew, George, Michael, John and Ethel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday November 8, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home, with a funeral service to follow on Thursday November 9, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Colchester Memorial Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
