Kathleen Elsie Kyba

Elsie peacefully departed from this world on the 14th of October, 2023, on the eve of her remarkable 100th birthday. She took her last breath while surrounded by her cherished children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Elsie was the embodiment of joy and was at the heart of her loving family. Her days were lived gracefully, filled with gratitude and devout faith. Known for her friendliness and nurturing spirit, she left a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of meeting her.

Mom, Grandma, and GG will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who loved her dearly. Throughout her life, Elsie demonstrated an unwavering love and devotion for those around her, as well as a steadfast commitment to her faith in Jesus. We find solace in the knowledge that she now rests peacefully in His loving embrace, reunited with her beloved family and friends in the vast heavens above.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters: Sharon from Halifax, NS and her family; Valerie (and Bob) from Calgary, AB and their family; and daughter-in-law Alison from Guelph, ON and her family. Elsie is also survived by her six adoring grandchildren and ten wonderful great-grandchildren. Although she was preceded in death by her husband John and beloved son Patrick, Elsie’s legacy will continue to live on through the love and memories shared by those she held dear.

A future date will be allotted for the final resting place of Elsie in Melfort, SK, where she will be laid to rest. As we bid farewell to our beloved Elsie, we take comfort in knowing that her spirit will forever remain in our hearts, guiding and inspiring us with the cherished memories of a life well-lived.
