Kenneth MURPHY

Kenneth Walter Murphy, aged 100, passed away on August 27, 2023, after a brief illness. He was the son of the late William and Evelyn May. Ken is survived by his beloved wife Isobel (nee Gordon), with whom he shared 72 years of marriage, and was the cherished father of Deb Vitek, Kevin Murphy, and the late Lori-Ann Murphy. He was an adored grandfather to Tiffany Francis, Tim Vitek, and the late Tara Lynn Vitek-Ciarma, and a proud great-grandfather to Pierce and Preston Francis, Joseph Donald (J.D) and Caralina Ciarma, and Bennett and Cameron Vitek.

Throughout his life, Ken had a passion for travel and woodworking. He delighted in creating unique jewelry boxes. The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Copper Terrace Long Term Care Facility, particularly the staff on 2 East, for their unwavering support during this challenging period.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Community Living Windsor or Chatham Kent Hospice. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 1, 2023, from 3-7p.m., and the Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at 10a.m. at Families First, located at 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor.
