Kevin Schultz

Kevin Adolph Schultz, affectionately known as Ziggy, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at the age of 56. He leaves behind his beloved partner Joanne Brown and their children, Brodie Schultz and Taylor Schultz, as well as their cherished furry companion, “Tank.” Kevin was a caring stepfather to Wyatt and Morgan St-Michael and Mackenzie Brown. He was a devoted grandfather to Scottlyn Kasaboski and a loving fur granddad to “Rambo.” Kevin was the cherished son of Linda Schultz and the late Adolph Schultz. He will be deeply missed by his sisters Brenda Ferguson and Wendy Degrechie, and his brother-in-law Scott Brown, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation to honor Kevin’s memory took place at the Malcolm, Deavitt and Binhammer Funeral Home, located at 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke, on Saturday, August 19, 2023, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Pembroke on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Kevin will be laid to rest in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt and Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Canadian Diabetes Society or the Pembroke Regional Hospital Dialysis Unit. Kevin was also an adoring pet parent to his furry son, “Tank.” Additionally, he played a caring role as a stepfather to Wyatt and Morgan St-Michael, and Mackenzie Brown. Kevin will be remembered as a loving grandfather to Scottlyn Kasaboski, and a fur granddad to “Rambo.” He was the son of Linda Schultz and the late Adolph Schultz. Kevin’s passing deeply saddened his sisters, Brenda Ferguson and Wendy Degrechie, as well as his brother-in-law, Scott Brown, and his wife, Sherry Siroski. He will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends paid their respects during the visitation held at the Malcolm, Deavitt and Binhammer Funeral Home on August 19, 2023. The visitation hours were from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A memorial service to celebrate Kevin’s life will be held on August 24, 2023, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Pembroke, starting at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery. The Malcolm, Deavitt and Binhammer Funeral Home in Pembroke is responsible for the funeral arrangements.
