Survived by his spouse, Ingrid Chapman. Predeceased by his wife Theresa Chapman (1983), granddaughter Amber Corey (2002), his parents George and Sadie Chapman, step-dad Pete Chartier, also half-sister Hazel McGovern (Oral), and half-brother Stanley Bice (Doreen).

Also survived by his loving daughter Tammy Chapman and grandchildren Dillon, Brennen and Tiffani Turcotte, Bonnie Corey (Paul), grandson Chris (Jacqui), great-grandchildren Matthew, Nessik and Amber, sons Ricky and Ronney Chapman, step-children Julie McCready (Craig), Tanya Perry and grandchildren Ziggy and Christian. Remembered by many dear friends and family.

Born in Waterloo, Quebec and spent his early years farming.

His first marriage took him to Brantford and London where his boys were born. He had his own trucking business for a number of years and then met and married his second wife, Theresa (dec.1983). Together they operated a home for Special Care.

He was a savvy businessman and entrepreneur. He renovated over 80 properties, trailers, buses and campers.

Once he met his third wife, Ingrid, they travelled throughout the U.S and Canada and settled back in St. Thomas in August, 2023.

Dad was diagnosed with cancer December 2, 2023 and has gone to meet his saviour, surrounded by family, January 28, 2024.

At his request he has donated his body to science at the University of Western, London. A private service will be held. Memorial donations may be made to A.S.P.C.A. Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas entrusted with arrangements.
