Lawrence Fournier

The family of Lawrence “Larry” Joseph Fournier sadly announces his unexpected passing on October 30, 2023, at the age of 62. Larry is survived by his loving wife of more than four decades, Sharon Louise (Boyce) Fournier. Together, they raised two children, Selena Louise Fournier Winn (Andrew) and Curtis Lawrence Fournier (Stephanie Duchesne), who brought immense joy to their lives. Larry was also cherished by his two grandchildren, Maxwell and Vivian Winn. Among his surviving family members are his brother James “Jamie” Fournier, three nephews, and various aunts, uncles, and cousins. Larry was born and raised in Saint John, where he resided throughout his life. He was the beloved youngest son of the late Daniel James and Mary Elizabeth “Betty” (Roberts) Fournier.
After dedicating nearly 35 years of his life to Irving Pulp & Paper, Larry retired in 2016. Renowned as a diligent and skilled individual, he could fix almost anything or provide expert guidance on how to do so. Larry’s commitment to hard work was matched only by his devotion to his role as a husband and father. He took immense pride in being there for his family and sought to create joyous memories for his grandchildren. Larry delighted in building toys for them using everyday household items. His grandchildren adored their “Grandpa” and will deeply miss him.
