Linda Foreman, a resident of Fredericton, New Brunswick, passed away on October 23 at the age of 78. Throughout her 60-year marriage to her loving husband, Lester, they had the opportunity to travel with friends, raise a family, and create cherished memories at their camp. Linda will be deeply missed by her children, Jeff (Diane), Brian (Shelley), and Krista (Andrew), as well as her grandchildren, Justin, Teague, Taylor, Kyle, Brianna, Kaitlin, and Cortney. Her nieces, nephews, and a close group of friends also mourn her loss. Linda leaves behind her sister, Sheila, and will be remembered fondly by her family and friends for her warm smile, infectious laughter, and her famous cherry cheesecake.
Linda dedicated many years to her career, starting as a bank teller before becoming a receptionist at Garth B. Williams Insurance. Upon retiring, her focus shifted to her beloved grandchildren, and she could often be found supporting them at various sporting events and activities. Linda’s presence graced gymnasiums, rinks, pools, and racetracks, demonstrating her unwavering love and support for her family.
In addition to her infant son, Thomas Murray, Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Velma Mockler, and her brother, Donnie. The family expresses gratitude to the staff at Windsor Court and the DECH for their exceptional care and compassion during Linda’s final days. As per her request, there will be no visitation or service. Donations can be made in Linda’s memory to a charity of choice, and personal condolences for the family can be shared on the website of York Funeral Home, where the arrangements are being handled.
