Linda Marie (Peterson) Kirby, a beloved mother, passed away unexpectedly on August 25, 2023, in her 74th year. She has now joined her loving husband John, finding solace in his warm embrace. Linda was a devoted mother to her sons, John (Margy) and Jason (Wendy). She was a cherished Grama to Bridgett (Pete), Wesley, Stephanie (Justin), and Marissa (Braedon), and an adored Gigi to Axtin, Lola, Henry, and Hailey. Linda is survived by her brother Michael (Nancy) and several nieces and nephews. She had a special bond with her camping family, including Dennis (Roseanne), Cathy, Debbie, Steve (Cathy), Gloria, Jackie, and many others. Preceding her in death were her parents Glen and IdaBelle, infant son Michael, beloved sister Sandy (Bill), and brother Glen. Linda also leaves behind her beloved pet, Buddy. Friends are invited to attend the visitation at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre on September 6, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. Donations in Linda’s memory can be made to a charity of your choice. Linda valued her ties with her camping family, including Dennis (Roseanne), Cathy, Debbie, Steve (Cathy), Gloria, Jackie, and numerous others who will dearly miss her.
