Lorraine Bocchini (nee Parr) peacefully passed away on October 1, 2023, at the remarkable age of 100. She was the cherished spouse of the late Ray, who departed in 1977. Lorraine was a dedicated mother to Ronald Bocchini (the late Cathy), Margaret Zavitz and her husband Art, as well as Robert Bocchini and his wife Lorie. Her memory lives on through her beloved grandchildren: Scott, Cathryn (Doug), Bryce, Tim, Kristina, Matthew, Kerri (Brandon), and Justin (Amanda). She was also adored by her great-grandchildren; Christian, Hannah, Sophia, Anthony, Marissa, and Jeffery, and her great-great-grandchildren Logan and Diesel. Lorraine is mourned by her niece Tee (Patricia) Fitzpatrick, who fondly remembers the countless hours spent enjoying tea together. Lorraine’s passion for bowling, bingo, and adventures with her sister Mary will never be forgotten. She served as the president of the Windsor and South Windsor Figure Skating Clubs, and she was a devoted Toronto Blue Jays fan, finding immense joy in watching their games. The family extends their gratitude to the caring and compassionate staff of Aspen Lake. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to The Red Cross or World Vision. Visitation will be held at Families First, South Windsor, on Thursday, October 5, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., followed by the Funeral Service on Friday, October 6, 2023, at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow the service.
