Marguerite LAMBERT

Marguerite Helen Lambert (nee McKay), born in 1930 in Ellershouse, Nova Scotia, held a deep connection to her East Coast roots throughout her life. She sadly passed away in [date] at the age of 91. Marguerite was preceded in death by her parents, Marguerite Helen (nee Demmings) and James Falkner McKay, as well as her brother, Jim McKay. Her sister-in-law, Barb McKay, is left to cherish her memory. Marguerite was the beloved wife of the late William Maxwell Lambert (GLBL), and together they embarked on countless adventures around the world, cultivating lifelong friendships along the way. Left to mourn her loss are her daughter, Pamela (Ron Reiche), and her three grandchildren: Christopher (Hunter), Jonathan (Lindsay), and Jennifer (Steve). Marguerite will be fondly remembered by her extended family and numerous friends.

Marguerite, known affectionately as Mom, Nanny, and Marguerite, brought immense love and joy into the lives of those who knew her. She had a kind and generous spirit that touched the hearts of everyone she encountered. Her warmth, compassion, and vibrant personality will be greatly missed.

A cremation service has already taken place, and a Celebration of Life in honor of Marguerite will be held in her beloved Nova Scotia at a later date. In memory of Marguerite, the family kindly requests donations to be made to either the Ruddy-Shenkman Hospice in Kanata or the Ottawa Heart Institute. These contributions will be greatly appreciated and will help support causes that Marguerite held dear to her heart. Arrangements for Marguerite’s services have been entrusted to the caring professionals at the Murphy Funeral Home in Pembroke.
