Maria MASTROMARINO

Maria Mastromarino, 87, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2023, at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home in Chatham. She was born in Italy in 1936 to Clelia (DeCrist) and Soccorso Follo. Maria was a beloved wife to the late Pasquale Mastromarino, who left this world in 2017. She will be dearly missed by her loving daughter, Rita (Dean) Craven, and her cherished granddaughter, Emily. Maria is also survived by her brother, Tony (Genoveffa) Follo, sister-in-law Grace Orrecchio, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Leona Matteis and Mafalda Follo. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the nurses and caregivers on the 2nd Floor East at Riverview Gardens for their exceptional care.

Visitation will take place at Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, located at 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120), on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass in memory of Maria will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at 12:00 noon at St. Ursula’s Church. Following the service, she will be laid to rest in Maple Leaf Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Riverview Gardens or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
