Marie Marthe Leclerc (née Vallée) passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at the age of 95 in Sudbury. She was born to Jean-Baptiste and Anita Vallée. Marie Marthe was preceded in death by her loving husband, Yvon Leclerc. She is survived by her daughters Gisèle Roussain (late Randal) and Louise Drolet (Gerald), as well as her late daughter Marie-Paule Leclerc. Marie Marthe’s siblings, Huguette (late Jean-Guy), Felixina (late Arthur), Germaine (late Emery), Henrie (late Eva), Paul, Wilfrid (late Eugénie), Yvonne (late Eugene), Gertrude (late Léon), and Jeanne (late Noël), all preceded her in death. She was a cherished grandmother to Marie-Blanche (James), Christopher (Dina), Anne, James (Tim), Eric (Ruby), Lisa (Pierre) and great-grandmother of Charlotte (Dalton), Patrick (Kennedy), Ruby, Jack, Adrien, Oscar, Audrey, Danika, Austin, Sophie, and Brantley. Marie Marthe was dear sister-in-law to Gilles Leclerc and had other in-laws who preceded her in death. She will be deeply missed by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. The family extends their gratitude to the staff at St-Joseph’s Villa for their compassionate care. At her request, there will be no visitation or funeral.
