Marilyn Cherily Dargie, formerly known as Marilyn Cherily Harker, passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on October 26, 2023, at the age of 76. She was surrounded by her loving family during her final moments. Marilyn was married to Jon R. Dargie for an incredible 52 years and will always hold a special place in the hearts of her children: Thomas (Isabel), Jason (Tammy), and Brett. Sadly, their son Clark had previously passed away in January 2018. Marilyn was the beloved daughter of Herbert and Mary Harker. She was also cherished as a sister by Jack Harker, Peggy Jewer, Joan Kotlar, William Gray, Daniel Harker, Herbert Harker, Mary Lou Stoyanowski, Linda Cameron (Donny), Heather McColl, and David Harker. Marilyn will be fondly remembered by her 17 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was an active member of Rawdon Street Baptist Church, where she displayed unwavering dedication. Marilyn found joy in traveling and indulging in literature. Her genuine kindness and warm disposition endeared her to everyone she encountered. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Toll Funeral Home located at 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford, on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, from 1-3 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place in the funeral home Chapel on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at 11 a.m., followed by interment at Mt.
