Marilyn Winters, aged 82, passed away peacefully at Norfolk General Hospital on Thursday September 28, 2023. She was the beloved wife of Herbert and the loving mother of Barbara Winters from Windham Center and Denise Winters from Simcoe. Marilyn will be fondly remembered by her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, George and Margaret, as well as her son Richard. Throughout her life, Marilyn dedicated herself to caring for her family, and she excelled at this role. Friends and acquaintances are invited to gather at Thompson Waters Funeral Home (102 First Ave Port Dover) on Tuesday October 3, 2023, from 7p.m. to 9p.m., to share their cherished memories of Marilyn. A service in her honor will be held on Wednesday October 4, 2023, at 1p.m. in the funeral home chapel, officiated by Pastor Ted Smith.
