Marion Emma Krug, 84, from Tavistock, passed away on September 29, 2023, at The Maples Home for Seniors in Tavistock. Marion was born in South Easthope Township to Frederick and Ruby Krug, and she was their only child. She is survived by her cousin Joan Ebel and family, along with other relatives. Marion resided at The Maples for over 30 years, receiving remarkable care and compassion from the staff every day. Marion had a special affinity for country music, dancing, and sweets of all kinds. We can only hope that heaven has a well-stocked candy store where she can indulge her sweet tooth.
There will be a visitation for Marion on October 4, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m., which will take place at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sebastopol. Marion will be laid to rest alongside her parents in the church cemetery following the service. A luncheon will follow in the church’s parish hall.
