Marion (McIntyre) Abbott, beloved wife of the late Art Abbott (2017), peacefully passed away at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Wednesday, July 12, 2023. Marion was a loving mother to Muriel, Wesley (Lisa), Catherine, and Carol. She took great pride in being a grandmother to Megan, Cliff (Kayla), Nicole (Farhiya), Ben (Jasmine), Jonathan, Laura (Alec), Anne (Liam), and Elizabeth. Marion held a special place in her heart for her great-grandchildren Lily, Maisie, and Blake. She will be deeply missed by her sister, Betty Batchelor of Burnaby BC, sister Olga McIntyre of Winnipeg MB, brother and sister-in-law Gary and Diane McIntyre of Kingsville ON, and sister-in-law Rowena Tindall of Wiarton, ON. Marion was also cherished by her 14 nieces and nephews and their families, scattered across BC, Alberta, Manitoba, and Ontario. She was predeceased by her son-in-law Peter Calabretta, brother Bill McIntyre, brother-in-law Allen Tindall, as well as her parents, Hugh and Eileen (Cook) McIntyre. Visitation will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, located at 223 Main Street, LUCAN, on Saturday, July 15th from 12:30 to 1:30 PM, followed by the funeral service at 2 PM. The interment will take place at St. James Cemetery in Clandeboye.
