Marion Robison, aged 83, peacefully passed away on September 28, 2023, at Lakeside Home in Wolseley, Saskatchewan, with her sons by her side. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Leslie Robison, as well as her parents Alex and Francis Main, her mother-in-law Leona Robison, father-in-law Max Robison, and sister-in-law Anne Robison. Marion is survived by her son Trent Robison and his wife Rhonda, along with their children Nicholas and Rebecca. She is also survived by her son Scott Robison and his wife Angie, together with their children Brooke and Cadence. Additionally, she leaves behind her brother-in-law Kent Robison and his children, Jeff Robison and Susan (Doug) Vellieux, along with their children Sarah and Amy.

Marion grew up as an only child on the family farm in Summerberry, where she developed a deep affection for animals. Particularly fond of horses, she spent countless hours bonding with them. She attended school in Summerberry, actively participated in the 4-H Club, and enjoyed figure skating. After completing high school, Marion pursued nursing and graduated as a Registered Nurse from the Brandon General Hospital Nursing Program in 1962. She returned to the Summerberry area where she worked as an RN in Grenfell and later Wolseley until her retirement in 1993.

In 1963, Marion married Les, and they were blessed with two sons. They initially resided in Wolseley, later moving to a farm north of Summerberry before ultimately returning to Wolseley for retirement. The couple also owned a cabin at Crooked Lake, where they forged lifelong friendships with their neighbors and created cherished memories with their children. Marion actively contributed to the farm, often delivering meals to the field, including on her own birthdays. She took great pleasure in maintaining a vast garden, tending to her flowerbeds, feeding hummingbirds, engaging in snowmobiling, traveling, knitting, and shopping.

Marion’s declining health led her to reside at Wolseley Lakeside Home in 2013, where she received regular visits from Les until his passing in 2020. A graveside service to commemorate the lives of Marion and Les will be held on October 20, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in Summerberry Cemetery. Following the service, Trinity Presbyterian Church in Grenfell will host a luncheon. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan.
