Marion “Lil’ Ma” Tilley, formerly known as Marion Rossiter, was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on March 3, 1934, and peacefully passed from this life on October 29, 2023. Marion, proudly recognized as the esteemed matriarch of her family, held her title with great reverence until the end of her days. She faced numerous challenges throughout her life that shaped her into an exceptionally industrious, brave, resilient, and unapologetically authentic woman. Whenever we expressed our love for her, Marion would warmly reply, “Love you more.” Now, she has returned to the eternal embrace of her son, Reginald (September 7, 1960), and her daughter, Bonnie (December 16, 2005). Marion’s absence leaves a void that will be profoundly felt by her children, Aaron and Allison (Jim), her beloved grandchildren, Richard (Jennifer), Amanda (Ray), Carly (Jeremiah), Brittany, and Deanna, as well as her cherished great-grandchildren, Austin, Lucas, Nathan, Maya, and Sebastian.
