Marjorie DAVIE

Marjorie Elizabeth Davie, née Sieffert, peacefully passed away at the age of 91 on August 17, 2023. She was born on July 19, 1932, in North Bruce, Ontario, on Sieffert family Crownland, to Harvey Sieffert and Della Nichols. Marjorie was the beloved sister of Rose. On March 14, 1953, she married her husband, Willard John Albert (Jack) Davie, in Port Elgin, Ontario. They relocated to London, Ontario, in 1965 and were blessed with 12 children. In heaven, Marjorie is now rejoined with Jack and their six children: Maxine, Bessie, William, and their three unnamed babies. She is survived by her children: Doris Camps (Gary), Lawna Wilson (Russell, deceased), Linda Davie, Debbie Cullion (Glenn), Angus Davie (Jody), and Arley Davie (Chelan). Marjorie also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Marjorie possessed a profound skill for vegetable gardening, which she acquired during her upbringing in the era of the Great Depression. She continued to cultivate this passion until her last days when she resided at Marion Villa in the Mount Hope Long Term Care Centre in London. Additionally, Marjorie had a fondness for nurturing house plants, particularly African Violets. The family extends their gratitude to the dedicated staff at Marion Villa for the exceptional care provided to Marjorie during her stay.

The funeral service for Marjorie will take place at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, located at 1997 Dundas Street, London, on Saturday, August 26, at 1 p.m. Visitors are welcome to pay their respects from 12 Noon until the commencement of the service.
