Martha Peddle

Marie Martha Peddle, daughter of the late Hector Leblanc and Madeleine Poirier, passed away on October 30, 2023, at the age of 73. She peacefully left this world at Bobby’s Hospice surrounded by loved ones. Martha’s husband, Harold Peddle, deeply mourns the loss of his beloved partner of 50 years.

Survived by her husband, Martha also leaves behind her daughter Angela (Jeff) Boucher, as well as her siblings Raymond (Debbie) LeBlanc, Michael LeBlanc, Linda (James) Eagles, Lucia (George) Chiasson, Shirley (Patrick) Shannon, and Diane (Blair) Skeldon. She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Matthew (Kim) Boucher, Gregor Boucher, and Elizabeth Boucher. Martha also had a large extended family, including several nieces and nephews who shared cherished moments with her.

Martha’s parents, siblings Roger LeBlanc and Nancy Cormier, preceded her in death. The family wishes to express its special gratitude to the Extramural staff, particularly Marjorie, as well as Dr. William O’Brien, Dr. Chris O’Brien, and the compassionate team at Bobby’s Hospice for their exceptional care.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, located at 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (646-2424). Family and friends are invited to visitation on Sunday, November 5, 2023, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM and 6:00 – 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, November 6, 2023, at 12:00 PM at Our Lady of the Assumption. Martha’s final resting place will be at Greenwood Cemetery.

In memory of Martha, the family kindly requests donations to be made to Our Lady of the Assumption, Bobby’s Hospice, or a charity of choice, in lieu of flowers.
