Mary Elizabeth “Liz” Arthur, 86, passed away peacefully at her home on October 28, 2023. She was the beloved mother of Brian (Trudy) Arthur, Pamela (Stephen) Kelly, and Michael (Cheryl) Arthur, and cherished sister of Daphne (Wilf) Brietkreitz. Liz was predeceased by her husband Glenn of 62 years, her daughter Patricia, her parents Pat and Elizabeth Travers, and her brother John Travers. She was a proud grandmother to Ryan Kelly, Sara Ohora, Matthew (Laura) Arthur, Michael (Sarah) Arthur, Joel (Tosha) Kelly, Emily Arthur, and Colin Sadler, as well as a great-grandmother to Hunter and Harper Kelly, Ivy Arthur, and Addison Arthur.

Liz’s family and close friends meant the world to her, and she will be deeply missed by all. She and her husband Glenn enjoyed many years of camping throughout North America, with Myrtle Beach being a favorite destination. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Premji and his staff for their kind and compassionate care. In memory of Liz, donations to BGH Cardiac Rehab Program, CHEO, or the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. A celebration of Liz’s Life will be held at the Barclays Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Friday, November 10, 2023, from 2-4 p.m.
