Mary Ayako Tanaka (nee Eto), aged 87, peacefully passed away on July 17, 2023. After living a fulfilling life, she has been joyfully reunited with her beloved husband, Mike, who departed in 2016. Mary is survived by her devoted children: Wayne (Rachael), Glenn, and Karen (Brad), as well as her cherished grandchildren: Steven, Alexandra, and Dustin. Alongside numerous family members, the family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at Haro Park Centre and Dr. Shafie for their exceptional care. In memory of Mary, the family kindly requests making a donation to the Nikkei Seniors Health Care & Housing Society, the Haro Park Centre Society, or the Alzheimer Society of BC, instead of sending flowers.
