Michael Patrick Mulcahey, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on July 25, 2023, at the age of 70. Born on August 14, 1952, Michael was known for his fun-loving nature, charismatic personality, and strong work ethic. His family and friends are heartbroken by his loss and will always remember him fondly.

Michael was married to his soulmate, Leslie “Becky” Mulcahey, for 45 years. From the very beginning, their love was genuine and effortless. Together, they embarked on countless adventures, from horseback riding on a Hawaiian volcano to skiing the mountains of Utah. Their deep connection and unwavering love were evident to all who knew them.

Throughout his life, Michael touched the lives of many with his kind and charismatic personality. He was always quick with a joke and had a story to entertain those around him. He was known for his eloquence and had the right words for every situation. His dedication and ingenuity shone both in his successful 25-year career with Bell and in his personal life. He was always willing to take on any project and shared his knowledge, values, and discipline with those around him.

As Michael’s health declined, his passion for sailing and the water transformed into a love for lighthouses and the sea. Even in his illness, he maintained his warm smile, genuine conversation, and endearing character. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

The family is grateful for the care and support that Michael received over the past 18 years. They extend their sincere thanks to the CCAC PSWs, particularly Stacey and Kelly, the nurses of Bayshore Home Health Care, especially Betty Ann, and the compassionate staff at Maison McCulloch Hospice. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Michael can be made to Maison McCulloch Hospice.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no service held for Michael. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ranger’s Cremation and Burial Services Ltd. Online condolences can be posted at http://www.RangersSudbury.com.
