Nathan Walter Lee, aged 17, passed away suddenly due to a tragic traffic accident on August 19, 2023. He was deeply loved by his parents, Todd and Bessie Lee, as well as his brother, Nicholas. Nathan was the cherished grandson of Cathy and the late Judson Lee, Jane McManus (Don Drennan), and the late Walter McManus. Melissa Lee (Mark Taha), Vanessa Horodecky-de Jong (Tim), Judson Turnball (Karen), Mark McManus (Danielle) were his beloved aunt and uncles, and he was the great nephew of Dick Szumlinski, Susan Merry (Bob), Taylor Moore (Paula), Colleen Moore (Ron Carr), and Lucinda Moore. Nathan will be greatly missed by his cousins Tanner and Trace McManus, as well as Maya and Edouard Taha, along with the rest of his extended family. He had a passion for sports, especially hockey, and will be deeply missed by his numerous friends and the entire hockey community.

Visitation for Nathan will take place at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, located at 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Friday, August 25. Friends and family are welcome to attend from 2-5 pm and 6-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held the following day, Saturday, August 26, at 11 am, at St. Michael’s Church, situated at 511 Cheapside Street. Interment will be arranged for a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the George Bray Sports Association or MADD Canada would be greatly appreciated.

Nathan was a precious son to Todd and Bessie Lee, and a beloved brother to Nicholas. He brought immense joy and love to his family. Nathan’s grandparents, Cathy and the late Judson Lee, Jane McManus (Don Drennan), and the late Walter McManus, were deeply proud of him. He was also blessed with the love and support of his aunt and uncles, Melissa Lee (Mark Taha), Vanessa Horodecky-de Jong (Tim), Judson Turnball (Karen), Mark McManus (Danielle), and his great aunts and uncle, Dick Szumlinski, Susan Merry (Bob), Taylor Moore (Paula), Colleen Moore (Ron Carr), and Lucinda Moore. Nathan’s cousins, Tanner and Trace McManus, as well as Maya and Edouard Taha, will always remember him fondly. Nathan’s love for sports, particularly hockey, touched the lives of many friends and members of his hockey community. His absence will be keenly felt.

The loss of Nathan leaves an immense void that extends to his cousins, Tanner and Trace McManus, and Maya and Edouard Taha. Nathan’s passion for sports, particularly hockey, brought him many friends and established a lasting connection within the hockey community, all of whom will deeply miss him.
