Norma SCHAUER

Norma Patricia Schauer, age 74, passed away on October 16, 2023 at the Comox Valley Hospital. She was born on February 27, 1949, to Marjorie and George Larsen. Norma married Wayne in Leduc, Alberta on December 18, 1965, and they recently celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary on December 18, 2022. Besides cherishing time with her loved ones, Norma had a passion for camping and creating wire-wrapped jewelry.

Norma is survived by her beloved husband Wayne, daughters Kathy Lynn Bianco and Carrie Williams, brothers Bob and Tom Larsen, and sisters Joanne Orme and Terry Krawiec. She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren; Adam and Kate Hall, Braydon and Rhianne Williams, and Kiran Liebert. The family is grateful for the exceptional care provided by the staff at Comox Valley Hospital.

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 18, 2023, at 3485 Millard Road, Cortenay, from 1 – 3 p.m. This gathering will provide an opportunity for family and friends to share cherished memories and stories of Norma. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choosing in Norma’s honor.
